Convocatoria Misiones PERTE Chip – CDTI:
The AGANTI project, framed within the mission of ‘Strengthening R&D&I in cutting-edge microelectronic design and alternative architectures’, aims to establish the foundations and knowledge necessary to generate domestic capacity for both gallium nitride (GaN) technology manufacturing and advanced device packaging techniques.
In this context, SPARC particularly aims to enhance various avenues of collaboration, as well as to improve the portfolio of III-V semiconductor based chip foundry services with the following capabilities:
- To develop all the components necessary to manufacture functional MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) based on GaN-on-SiC technology, in a licence-free foundry that can be freely used by SPARC customers in an open and reliable manner.
- Develop all manufacturing processes necessary to produce reliable and reproducible integrated circuits based on GaN-on-SiC technology for SPARC customers.
AGANTI is led by INDRA, in collaboration with Sparc Foundry, Televés and RBZ, forming a large consortium for the execution of the project.
